NANS Southwest Celebrates Ismail Baiyewunmi on OAU Award of Excellence
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, has congratulated Barrister Ismaila Baiyewunmi on his receipt of an Award of Excellence from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, during the institution’s 65th Anniversary Celebration.
In a statement signed by the Zone D Coordinator, Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode (Billioncodes), NANS Southwest described the honour as a testament to Barrister Baiyewunmi’s enduring contributions to leadership, education, and youth development.
The student body noted that the award is reserved for individuals whose service, achievements, and commitment have significantly contributed to the growth, reputation, and legacy of the university.
According to the statement, Barrister Baiyewunmi has continued to inspire students and emerging leaders through his dedication to excellence, integrity, professionalism, and public service.
NANS Southwest stated that the recognition reflects not only his personal accomplishments but also the positive impact of his contributions to society and the educational community.
The association joined members of the Obafemi Awolowo University community, alumni, associates, and well-wishers in celebrating the achievement, describing the award as a well-deserved recognition of years of meaningful service and leadership.
