NANS Southwest Zone D Salutes "Governor of Grace" Ademola Adeleke on 66th Birthday
OSOGBO — The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, has joined the academic and political community in celebrating the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, as he marks his 66th birthday today, May 13th, 2026.
In a celebratory statement released to NANS Tribune, the Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode, popularly known as BILLIONCODES, described Governor Adeleke as a “shining symbol of hope” whose governance style is anchored on compassion, simplicity, and a deep-seated commitment to student welfare.
A Revolution in Education and Welfare
Representing the collective voice of students across the six Southwestern states — Osun, Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti — NANS Southwest highlighted the Governor’s transformative impact on the educational landscape.
The association noted that the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development and academic advancement has restored confidence among young people in public leadership and governance.
“History will remain kind to you for creating an atmosphere where young people can dream again, grow again, and believe again in the future of Osun State and Nigeria at large,” the statement read.
Inspiration for Student Leaders
Comrade Adeyemo, who notably hails from Osun State, emphasized that the current leadership of Zone D reflects the enabling environment fostered by Governor Adeleke’s administration.
He further praised the Governor’s uncommon connection with the masses and his fatherly disposition, qualities which, according to the association, have made him a beloved figure among students and young people across the region.
“The leadership of NANS Southwest proudly identifies with your achievements and appreciates your unwavering support for youth inclusiveness,” the statement added.
Prayers for Continued Strength
As the “People’s Governor” marks this significant milestone, the student body offered prayers for his continued strength, wisdom, and longevity in service to Osun State and humanity.
“On this special day, we pray that Almighty God grants you greater strength, sound health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to humanity,” the Coordinator concluded.
